LIFT stands for Love Inspired Fitness Therapy

I'm passionate about fitness and a big believer that exercise can be a form of therapy like music, art etc. My love of fitness, belief that it brings amazing benefits at all levels to confidence, self-esteem, emotional and physical health, as well as my desire to make physical activity more accessible to eveyone in society, particularly older adults, has led me to establish LIFT Wellbeing.

About me

I hope you enjoy reading about LIFT Wellbeing, its origins and the services I can provide. My background is in the Community & Voluntary sector where I've thoroughly enjoyed working closely with local people, hearing their stories and helping them to acheive amazing things!  My aim through LIFT Wellbeing is to engage people in all kinds of LIFTS that work for them, to help improve physical fitness and positive mental wellbeing.   


I really enjoy weight training in the gym and I'm also a keen runner, having completed various 10k, half marathon & marathon events.  I'm very thankful I can go to the gym or go out for a run, but realise that isn't possible for everyone. For some people, fitness can simply be lifting one arm or leg at a time, or doing some gentle exercises at home.  For others, it will be about pushing your body further and seeing what it can do! I believe in doing exercises that you enjoy and making it fun in order to stay motivated and make it a part of your daily or weekly routine.
